TANZANIAN GARISSA KILLINGS SUSPECT RASHID REMANDED FOR 30 DAYS

NAIROBI: THE TANZANIAN arrested over the Garissa University killings last week will be detained for the next 30 days before he is formally charged with the offence. The prosecution yesterday applied for –and was granted –an extended custodial order against Mr. Rashid Charles Mberesero alias Rehani Dida, who is believed to have had contact with the attackers who killed 148 people at the institution on April 2.
